CANDLELIGHT CHALLENGE

Test your navigational, problem solving and driving skills on the little known byways of Stirlingshire (and possibly some other places) and add your name to the list of eminent drivers already engraved upon the handsome and prestigious CANDLELIGHT TROPHY.

The Start and Finish is at Stirling Services at the junction of the M9 and the M80 (NS 805887). The services are open 24/7 and you will be able to get pre- and post-rally refreshments and fuel here.

Please arrive at Stirling Services by about 9.30 pm for a 10.00 pm departure. You should be finished around 01.00 – 01.30 am. The rally will not be against the clock but will be time limited.

You should bring OS Landranger 57 “Stirling and the Trossachs”, a roamer or scale, a torch and your brains. There are no restrictions on the type of car or the number in the crew but points will be awarded for older cars and deducted for large crews at the whim of the organisers.

There will be no paperwork or entry fees but we would like to know if you are planning to enter. An email to mike_cartney@yahoo.co.uk  will suffice. Any questions to the same.
